Louie Ski Carr has transitioned from a celebrated Soul Train dancer to an accomplished actor and mentor. After establishing himself as one of the most popular dancers on the nationally syndicated music program Soul Train in the 1980s, Louie Ski Carr went on to develop a significant fan base. This early success propelled him to tour as a dancer and mentor with the acclaimed R&B pop group New Edition. Carr’s passion for performance then led him to pursue acting, enrolling in theater classes at El Camino College and subsequently training with renowned acting coach Milton Katselas for nearly seven years.
He is slated to appear as Senor Cruz in an upcoming 2025 installment of ‘The Family Business.’ Additionally, he has secured roles as Cirus in the forthcoming TV Series ‘Jesus’ and as Juarez in the TV Movie ‘Cursed Angel,’ further solidifying his diverse and active career in the entertainment industry.
