Matthew Dearth, born on July 21, 1978, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, began his professional wrestling career in May 2000. Under the ring name “Dinn T. Moore,” he gained experience in several Wisconsin and northern Illinois promotions. His early career also included an appearance on Monday Night Raw in November 2004, where he participated in a segment with debuting wrestler Simon Dean. This appearance marked an early national television exposure for Dearth.

Dearth, as Beer City Bruiser, established a significant presence in Ring of Honor (ROH) from 2015 to 2021. He officially debuted in ROH on January 3, 2015, competing in the 2015 Top Prospect Tournament, where he advanced to the semi-finals. A key development in his ROH career was the formation of a tag team with Silas Young, leading to their pay-per-view debut at Glory By Honor XIV in October 2015. The duo also competed for the ROH World Tag Team Championship at Supercard of Honor X in April 2016 and won the 2016 Tag Wars tournament, securing a number one contender spot for the ROH Tag Team titles. In 2018, he formed “The Bouncers” tag team with Brian Milonas.

Throughout his career, Beer City Bruiser has accumulated various championships across different promotions. These include the AIWF World Heavyweight Championship, multiple BCW Heavyweight and Tag Team Championships, and the ICW Heavyweight and Tag Team Championships. He also held the NWA Heartland States Heavyweight Championship twice. His highest ranking in Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s PWI 500 was No. 318 in 2017. His achievements highlight a sustained career in professional wrestling, marked by both individual accolades and notable tag team collaborations.
