The motivational Ben Boulware is a fitness entrepreneur and former professional American football linebacker, who was part of the Carolina Panthers, and the San Francisco 49ers set-ups. He is also the founder of The Junkyard, a High Intensity Interval Training studio, and competed in the gruelling Ironman Florida 2021.
Born and raised in South Carolina, Boulware was a natural on the American football field during his High School years. He went on to play college football at Clemson University where he was named First team All-ACC 2016, CFP national champion 2016, ACC Co-Defensive Player of the Year 2016, and won the Jack Lambert Trophy 2016, and the College Football Playoff National Championship 2017. He turned professional when he was signed by the Carolina Panthers as an undrafted free agent following the 2017 NFL Draft. He was released by the team in September 2017 and was then signed by the San Francisco 49ers practice squad. However, things didn’t work out, and so he hung up his cleats and moved to plan B: setting up his own business. In 2018 he opened The Junkyard, a HIIT fitness studio, in his local town of Anderson.
Boulware regularly connects with his legions of followers and fans through Instagram, and Twitter, posting pictures and videos of his fitness lifestyle. He is also available for that personalised shout-out via the Cameo platform, and has an official business website, thejunkyardfitness.com.
