Ben Maller

Ben Maller launched his professional career in sports broadcasting in the mid-1990s, reporting for XTRA Sports 690am in San Diego. His engaging presence quickly led to co-hosting “The Ben & Dave Show” on XTRA Sports 1150 in Los Angeles in the late-1990s, and he further solidified his expertise by hosting ‘Dodger Talk” from 1996 to 2000. Maller joined Fox Sports Radio in August 2001, initially serving as an update anchor and weekend morning co-host, where he provided insightful commentary to a broad national audience. Demonstrating his growing influence, Maller signed a contract with Fox Sports in 2003 to become their dedicated ‘sports gossip guy,’ a role where he delivered daily sports rumors and exclusive notes.

He also showcased his writing talent in 2020 as a writer for ‘Benny vs the Penny.’ Maller’s commitment to personal achievement also made headlines, including his widely reported accomplishment of losing 200 pounds in 62 weeks through a disciplined regimen of diet and exercise, a testament to his dedication and ability to inspire.
