Ben Stiller

Ben Stiller is an American actor, comedian, producer, and director known for his enduring contributions to film and television comedy, including hit movies like “There’s Something About Mary” and the “Meet the Parents” franchise, as well as acclaimed directorial work on “Severance.” After creating and starring in ‘The Ben Stiller Show,’ which premiered on MTV in 1990 before moving to Fox in 1992, Ben Stiller earned a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Program in 1993. His early career also included performing in the 1986 Broadway revival of ‘The House of Blue Leaves’ and a stint as a writer and featured performer on ‘Saturday Night Live’ in 1989. This foundational work showcased his distinctive comedic voice and versatility as a writer, actor, and director. Stiller’s directorial debut arrived with the 1994 film ‘Reality Bites,’ which garnered cult status, followed by directing ‘The Cable Guy’ in 1996.
