About

Beth Stelling is a comedian, writer, and actress known for her stand-up specials on HBO and Netflix, and her writing contributions to television series such as ‘Crashing’ and ‘The Last O.G.’. After releasing her critically acclaimed debut comedy album, ‘Sweet Beth,’ in 2012, Beth Stelling quickly established herself as a prominent comedian, writer, and actress. Stelling, who earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre from Miami University in 2007, made her national television debut in 2014 on Conan. This was swiftly followed by her Comedy Central ‘The Half Hour’ special in 2015.

She served as a writer for the first two seasons of HBO’s critically praised series Crashing from 2017 to 2018. Her writing contributions continued with I Love You, America and Seth Rogen’s Hilarity for Charity, both in 2018, showcasing her versatile comedic voice. Further demonstrating her expertise in script development, Stelling worked as an on-set writer for the 2019 feature film Good Boys and later took on the role of Executive Story Editor for TBS’s The Last O.G. in 2020, solidifying her reputation as a skilled creative force behind the scenes.

Her stand-up career continued to flourish with the premiere of her special, ‘Girl Daddy,’ on HBO Max in 2020, reaching a wide audience. In 2021, Stelling added to her acting resume with a recurring role as Ms. Fish in eight episodes of the Peacock sitcom Rutherford Falls, which ran through 2022. Most recently, Stelling released her highly anticipated stand-up special, ‘If You Didn’t Want Me Then,’ on Netflix in 2023, receiving strong reviews and continuing her tradition of delivering impactful and memorable performances.
