Billy Dib

Two-time world boxing champion Billy Dib began his impressive career by dominating the amateur circuit, where he achieved the distinction of a three-time Australian Champion and secured 98 wins across 113 bouts. After training at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) in preparation for the 2004 Olympic Games, Dib made his professional debut in August 2004 with a win against Chad Roy Naidu. He quickly established himself, maintaining an undefeated record for his initial 20 professional bouts. In 2006, Dib moved to the United States, training with boxing legend Mike Tyson and subsequently forging a partnership with Golden Boy Promotions.

His career escalated further in 2008 when he captured the IBO super-featherweight title by unanimous decision against Zolani Marali. He continued his ascent, winning the IBF Pan Pacific featherweight title in 2010 before securing the prestigious IBF featherweight title in July 2011 with a unanimous decision victory over Jorge Lacierva. Dib successfully defended his IBF featherweight crown twice, first against Alberto Servidei in 2011 and again versus Eduardo Escobedo in 2012, solidifying his status as a world champion. Dib added another significant belt to his collection in 2014, winning the PABA super-featherweight title, followed by the IBF Australasian super featherweight title in 2016.
