Blake Nolan Corum was born on November 25, 2000, in Marshall, Virginia. He attended Saint Frances Academy in Baltimore, Maryland, where he distinguished himself as the 2019 Gatorade Player of the Year in Maryland and *The Baltimore Sun*’s Offensive Player of the Year. During his senior high school season, Corum rushed for 1,438 yards and scored 22 touchdowns, contributing significantly to his team achieving a #4 national ranking. Identified as a four-star recruit, he was rated as the #12 high school running back nationally. Corum’s early career demonstrated a blend of athletic talent and academic commitment, earning praise for his 4.4-second 40-yard dash and a 4.0-grade point average in his first college semester.

Corum enrolled at the University of Michigan in January 2020. In his debut season, he appeared in all six games as a true freshman, starting his first collegiate game on October 24 against Minnesota. He scored his first two collegiate touchdowns on October 31 against Michigan State. His career at Michigan was marked by consistent high-level performance and numerous records. In 2022, he achieved unanimous All-American honors and was named the Big Ten Most Valuable Player. The pinnacle of his college career came in 2023, where he became Michigan’s all-time leader in rushing touchdowns with 58 and set a single-season record with 27 rushing touchdowns. He also secured three consecutive Big Ten Conference titles and was named the Offensive MVP of the 2024 College Football Playoff National Championship game.

Drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft as the 83rd overall pick, Corum began his professional career as a backup running back. His rookie NFL season included 58 carries for 207 rushing yards and seven receptions for 58 receiving yards across 20 regular season games. In Week 18, he received his first NFL start against the Seattle Seahawks, though his season concluded with a fractured forearm sustained during that game. Corum’s career progression highlights his capabilities as a significant presence on the field, both at the collegiate and professional levels, demonstrating his transition and contributions.
