Bobb’e J. Thompson was born on February 28, 1996, in Kansas City, Missouri. He began his entertainment career at the age of five, demonstrating an aptitude for performance early on. His initial breakthrough occurred with a supporting role as the character Tupac in the 2003 film “My Baby’s Daddy.” This led to further engagements in both television and film, including appearances in “The Tracy Morgan Show” (2004), “Shark Tale” (2004), “That’s So Raven” (2004), and “Joey” (2005). These early roles established his presence in the industry, showcasing his comedic timing and on-screen presence.

Thompson’s career progression included significant film roles during his formative years. In 2007, he co-starred with Vince Vaughn in the holiday comedy “Fred Claus.” A notable achievement came in 2008 with his role as Ronnie Shields in the film “Role Models,” for which he received a nomination for Best Breakthrough Performance – Male at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards. The year 2009 saw him appear in “Land of the Lost” alongside Will Ferrell and in “Imagine That,” where he acted opposite Eddie Murphy.
