Bobb’e J Thompson is a multi-talented American actor, rapper, comedian and dancer, best known for his roles as Tracy Jr. in 30 Rock, Stanley in That’s So Raven, and Ronnie Shields in Role Models.
Missouri-born Thompson kick-started his extraordinary career at just five years old when he rose to worldwide stardom as a child actor. His first on-screen appearances included Shark in My Wife and Kids, and as the dynamic Baby Tupac in My Baby’s Daddy.
He soon won his breakthrough role as the young con-artist Stanley in Disney Channel’s Emmy-nominated series That’s So Raven. This was a recurring role he reprised in spin-off, Cory in the House. For a short time, Thompson hosted his own Cartoon Network series, Bobb’e Says, before leaving to pursue other ventures. Thompson has appeared in countless popular television series in his career, including as Jimmy Mitchell in the popular but short-lived The Tracy Morgan Show, Dante in Whoopie, Hector in Snow, Kenny in Joey, Goose Dawkins in Just Jordan, Nate in True Jackson, VP, Tracy Jr. in 30 Rock, M.J. Williams in For Better or Worse and DeShawn in House of Pain.
On the silver screen, Thompson is best known for his role as the hilarious Ronnie Shields in Role Models, which also starred Paul Rudd, and as the voice of Cal Devereaux in Golden Globe-nominated animation Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Additional movie credits include Shark Tale, Brother Bear 2, Fred Claus, Of Boys and Men, Columbus Day, Lands of the Lost and Me and Earl and the Dying Girl. Thompson also appeared in several humorous commercials for the PlayStation Portable as Marcus Rivers, the fictional publicist of PSP, across television and digital spots.
