Brian Thompson

Brian Thompson is an American actor known for his diverse roles across film and television, spanning action, science fiction, and comedy genres. After an intensive Master of Fine Arts program at the University of California-Irvine and refining his dramatic skills at the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Brian Thompson quickly secured his SAG card and five professional credits before making his impactful screen debut as a punk in James Cameron’s seminal film The Terminator (1984). This breakthrough was quickly followed by his portrayal of the villainous Night Slasher in Sylvester Stallone’s Cobra (1986), cementing his early presence in action-oriented cinema. Thompson earned his first named television role on Werewolf (1987) and began his extensive affiliation with the Star Trek franchise, first appearing as Klingon Officer Klag in Star Trek: The Next Generation (1989).
