United States Brian Westbrook has transitioned from a celebrated NFL athlete to an investor and director of player engagement, bringing his extensive experience to various ventures.
Brian Westbrook is an investor at SeventySix Capital and a member of the SeventySix Capital Athlete Venture Group. He invests and works directly with top sports tech startups and entrepreneurs.
Westbrook partnered with USAA for the 'USAA's Recycled Rides' program, where a refurbished car was gifted to an active military member. This initiative involved teaming up with 3D Auto Body and the NABC Recycled Rides program.
Westbrook participated in Visa's NFL Financial education program, coaching students.

Brian Collins Westbrook was born on September 2, 1979, in Fort Washington, Maryland. He attended DeMatha Catholic High School where he excelled in both football and basketball, earning All-League, All-Prince George’s County, and All-State Honorable Mention selections in football during his junior and senior years.
Westbrook continued his football career at Villanova University (1997-2001), where he set an NCAA record with 9,512 all-purpose yards. Despite battling several injuries, he accumulated 542 points and 84 touchdowns in 46 career games. He also became the only player in I-AA history to record 1,000 rushing and 1,000 receiving yards in a single season (1998) and earned the Walter Payton Award in 2001 as the top player in NCAA Division I-AA. His college achievements led to his induction into the Villanova University Varsity Club Hall of Fame in 2016, the Senior Bowl Hall of Fame in 2023, and the College Football Hall of Fame in 2023.
His professional career began when he was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the third round of the 2002 NFL draft. Over eight seasons with the Eagles, Westbrook became a key offensive player, contributing to the team’s success, including a Super Bowl appearance. He earned two Pro Bowl selections in 2004 and 2007. After leaving the Eagles in 2010, he played one season with the San Francisco 49ers before retiring in 2012 as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles. Later, he served as the director of player engagement for the XFL until its merger with the USFL.
