After starring in Disney films such as ‘The Mighty Ducks’ (1992), ‘D2: The Mighty Ducks’ (1994), and ‘First Kid’ (1996), Brock Pierce transitioned into technology entrepreneurship. His acting career also included roles in ‘Little Big League’ (1994), ‘Ripper Man’ (1995), and ‘Problem Child 3: Junior in Love’ (1995). Pierce became a minor partner in Digital Entertainment Network (DEN), a venture focused on online episodic video content that raised $88 million in venture capital.
The following year, 2014, he co-founded Tether, a stablecoin that rapidly grew to become one of the most traded cryptocurrencies globally, and was also elected Director of the Bitcoin Foundation.
