Robbie Amell has established a diverse acting career across film and television, building a reputation for roles in sci-fi, comedy, and action genres. After securing his first major motion picture role as Daniel Murtaugh in the 2005 film Cheaper by the Dozen 2, Robbie Amell went on to establish a diverse acting career across film and television, building a reputation for compelling roles in sci-fi, comedy, and action genres. His professional journey began earlier, appearing in commercials starting in 1994, and gaining significant theater experience around 2004 at Lawrence Park Stage in productions such as ‘Louis and Dave,’ ‘Picasso at the Lapin Agile,’ and ‘The Importance of Being Earnest.’ Amell then transitioned to television with lead character Max in ‘Life with Derek’ (2006–2008) and a recurring role as Jimmy on ‘True Jackson, VP’ (2008–2011). He also portrayed Fred Jones in the television movies Scooby-Doo!

He then secured the lead role of Nathan Brown in the critically acclaimed Prime Video series ‘Upload’ (2020–2025), a major streaming hit, and reprised his role as Max in The Babysitter: Killer Queen (2020). In recent years, Amell played Chris Redfield in Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City (2021) and appeared as Gallatin in ‘The Witcher’ (2023).
