The fabulous Jerry O’Connell is an actor and TV host, best known for playing Quinn Mallory in the cult sci-fi series Sliders, Andrew Clements in My Secret Identity, and for voicing Commander Jack Ransom on the animated series Star Trek: Lower Decks, as well as for the movies Stand By Me, Jerry Maguire, Piranha 3-D, and Veronica Mars. As a host he is known for The Talk, Pictionary, and The Real Love Boat.
Born and raised in New York City, O’Connell grew up with a love for acting and attended New York University to study film. His acting career had actually started when he was a child, initially doing commercial work, and then making his feature film debut when he was 11-years-old with a role in Rob Reiner’s 1987 adaptation of the Stephen King coming-of-age novella Stand By Me. The same year he made his TV debut in the film The Room Upstairs. He has since gone on to become a familiar face in TV, appearing in such shows as The Equalizer, My Secret Identity, Las Vegas, Do Not Disturb, The Defenders, We Are Men, Billions, and Carter. While his movie career has seen him feature in such productions as Police Academy 5, Scream 2, Mission to Mars, Scary Movie 5, and Endangered Species.
