Bruno Duarte da Silva, born on March 24, 1996, in São Paulo, Brazil, is a professional footballer known as Bruno Duarte or simply Bruno. He began his youth career with local clubs like São Paulo FC (2012–2013) and Palmeiras (2013–2016) before joining Portuguesa in March 2016, initially assigned to the under-20 squad. He made his senior debut on June 4, 2016, in a Série C match against Ypiranga-RS. Duarte scored his first senior goal for Portuguesa on April 9, 2017, in a Campeonato Paulista Série A2 game against Guarani. His career progression saw him move to FC Lviv in the Ukrainian Premier League in July 2018, signing a three-year contract and making his debut abroad on July 22 of that year. He continued his football journey by signing with Vitória S.C. in the Portuguese Primeira Liga on August 15, 2019, for a reported transfer fee of €600,000.
Duarte’s time at Vitória Guimarães included notable appearances in the UEFA Europa League, where he scored against Arsenal in both group games in 2019. In the 2020–21 season, he primarily served as a substitute, and the following season saw manager Pepa experiment with him in tandem with Óscar Estupiñán. During the Taça da Liga, he scored in three games, contributing to Vitória reaching the semi-finals, including a late equalizer against S.L. Benfica on October 27, 2021. On July 22, 2022, Duarte moved to the Saudi Arabian club Damac, with his transfer fee estimated between €600,000 and €700,000 with add-ons. He returned to Portuguese football on July 21, 2023, signing a two-year contract with S.C. Farense, a recently promoted Primeira Liga side.
