Bryant McFadden was born on November 21, 1981, in Hollywood, Florida. He attended McArthur High School, where he was recognized as a top cornerback, achieving USA Today All-USA and Parade All-America first-team selections. During his junior year, he recorded one interception and 75 tackles, following with two interceptions and 75 tackles as a senior. McFadden then played college football at Florida State University, majoring in computer graphics with a minor in studio art, and concluded his collegiate career with 107 tackles as a cornerback.
McFadden was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers as the 62nd overall pick in the second round of the 2005 NFL Draft. During his first stint with the Steelers from 2005 to 2008, he earned a Super Bowl XL victory and was instrumental in crucial plays, including tipping a pass in the end zone against the Indianapolis Colts during the AFC Divisional Playoffs. In 2007, he notably intercepted a pass and returned it for a touchdown against the San Francisco 49ers. He then signed a two-year, $10 million contract with the Arizona Cardinals in 2009, recording 69 tackles that season.
He returned to the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2010, where he contributed to another Super Bowl victory, Super Bowl XLIII. During his second tenure with the Steelers, he participated in Super Bowl XLV. After retiring from professional football, McFadden transitioned into a broadcasting career. He became a studio analyst for 120 Sports, an all-digital sports network, and in 2018, he joined CBS Sports HQ as an analyst for their weekly football shows. McFadden also hosts Huddlecast, a Florida State University football podcast, and co-hosts “All Things Covered” with fellow former NFL cornerback Patrick Peterson.
