Camila Morrone

Camila Morrone was born on June 16, 1997, in Los Angeles, California, to Argentine actors Maximo Morrone and Lucila Polak (stage name Lucila Solá). After her parents divorced in 2006, her mother was in a long-term relationship with Al Pacino, whom Camila considers a stepfather. She completed her education at Beverly Hills High School, graduating in 2015. Morrone began her career in modeling, appearing on the cover of Vogue Turkey in 2016 and making her runway debut for Moschino’s 2017 resort collection. Her modeling work has since expanded to include collaborations with brands such as Victoria’s Secret, Sephora, Calvin Klein, and Chanel. In July 2024, she became a brand ambassador for NARS Cosmetics.

Morrone made her acting debut in James Franco’s 2013 film “Bukowski.” She returned to acting in 2018 with roles in the action film “Death Wish,” playing Jordan Kersey, and Augustine Frizzell’s directorial debut “Never Goin’ Back,” where she co-starred as Jessie. “Never Goin’ Back” premiered to positive reception at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival. Her career continued to advance with leading roles, including Mickey Peck in the 2019 critically acclaimed drama “Mickey and the Bear,” which premiered at the SXSW Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival. She also appeared in “Valley Girl” in 2020 as Ruby Richman.

A significant milestone in Morrone’s career occurred in 2023 with her role as Camila Alvarez-Dunne in the Amazon Prime Video limited series “Daisy Jones & The Six.” Her performance garnered widespread critical acclaim, earning her nominations for a Critics’ Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Movie/Miniseries and a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie. She is slated to appear in “Marmalade” (2024), “The Night Manager” (2025), and has upcoming main roles in “Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen” and “The Age of Innocence.”
