Natália Zilio Pereira was born on April 4, 1989, in Joaçaba, Santa Catarina, Brazil. She developed into an outside hitter, standing at 1.86 meters and weighing 83 kg. Pereira began her professional club career with Sollys/Osasco (2006–2011), where she secured the Brazilian Superliga Championship in the 2009–10 season. Her early career also saw her excel in international youth competitions, earning Most Valuable Player and Best Scorer awards at the 2007 FIVB U20 World Championship.
Her career continued with notable achievements, including a gold medal with the Brazilian national team at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Pereira consistently contributed to her national team’s success, securing silver medals at the 2007 World Cup, 2010 World Championship, and 2020 Tokyo Olympics. She also amassed multiple gold medals in the FIVB World Grand Prix (2006, 2009, 2013, 2014, 2016, 2017) and South American Championships. Her club career includes stints with prominent teams like Unilever Vôlei, Rexona Ades Rio, Fenerbahçe, Eczacıbaşı VitrA, and Dynamo Moscow, collecting numerous national league and cup titles, as well as South American Club Championship golds.
Throughout her career, Pereira has been recognized for individual excellence, receiving multiple Most Valuable Player and Best Outside Spiker awards in various international and domestic competitions, including the FIVB World Grand Prix, Turkish League, and South American Championship. Her most recent club engagements include playing for Savino del Bene Scandicci (2021-2022), a return to Dynamo Moscow (2022–2024), Osasco/São Cristovão Saúde (2024–2025), and Tianjin Bohai Bank (2025–2026), demonstrating her sustained high level of performance in global volleyball.
