Cas Anvar established his professional foundation by founding and serving as producing artistic director of Montreals Repercussion Theatre in 1988, a Shakespeare-in-the-Park touring company that has performed across Montreal and throughout North America. After graduating from the prestigious National Theatre School in 1989, Anvar transitioned to on-screen work, making his debut in ‘Urban Angel’ in 1992. He garnered significant early recognition for his role as Kambiz Foroohar in the 2003 critically acclaimed film ‘Shattered Glass’, which earned nominations for four Independent Spirit Awards and a Golden Globe. Anvar further expanded his filmography with appearances in major productions, including Steven Spielberg’s ‘The Terminal’ in 2004, where he worked alongside Tom Hanks and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
In 2024, he starred in the film ‘Doin’ It’. Looking ahead, Anvar is set to appear in two anticipated 2025 releases: ‘Viper’ and ‘Weight of Darkness’, further cementing his reputation as a sought-after talent across film and television.
