Charlie Guest is a 2x Winter Olympian and decorated alpine skier known for her resilience and advocacy for equity in sport. After becoming the first British girl to win an international childrens race at age 14, Charlie Guest made her World Cup debut in slalom in January 2013 in Flachau, Austria. She swiftly secured Senior British National Alpine Ski Championship Titles in Alpine Combined (2013), and both Slalom and Giant Slalom (2014), alongside Junior British National Alpine Ski Championship Titles in Slalom and Giant Slalom (2014). In late 2014, Guest faced a significant setback, breaking four vertebrae in a training crash in Sweden.
This strong showing preceded her selection for the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, where she secured a commendable 21st place finish in the slalom. Guest also clinched another Senior British National Alpine Ski Championship Title in Slalom in 2022. Following her decorated competitive career, Guest transitioned into influential new roles, including serving on the British Olympic Association’s Athletes Commission and providing insightful co-commentary for Eurosports alpine skiing coverage. She commenced a BSc in Psychology at the University of Aberdeen in 2019, reinforcing her commitment to understanding and promoting well-being.
