Charlotte Palermino

Charlotte Palermino graduated from McGill University in 2009. Early in her career, she received an acceptance letter for a position at L’Oréal but was already working full-time at an advertising agency, highlighting her initial steps into the professional world. She spent almost a decade working in media, notably at Cosmopolitan magazine, where she launched its Snapchat Discover section. This experience provided her with significant exposure to audience building and brand equity creation.

Palermino later transitioned to a tech role at Snapchat. Her extensive background in media and technology, combined with a growing interest in the beauty industry’s need for transparency, led her to develop the concept for Dieux Skin. Her curiosity regarding cannabinoids and their skin benefits also played a role in the brand’s foundation. As a co-founder and Chief Brand Officer of Dieux Skin, she has been instrumental in establishing the brand’s identity.

Beyond her entrepreneurial endeavors, Charlotte Palermino is a licensed esthetician. She actively engages with audiences on platforms like TikTok and Instagram, creating content that addresses skincare topics, debunks myths, and shares product insights. She emphasizes the importance of science-backed formulations and responsible sourcing within the beauty industry, advocating for greater honesty and accountability. Her work with Dieux Skin focuses on creating effective, transparent products and simplifying skincare routines.
