Chelsea Talmadge

Chelsea Talmadge was born in Fountain Valley, California, USA, on December 30, 1993. At the age of three, she moved to Orlando, Florida, where she began training in dance at six, demonstrating an early passion for the arts. Her acting career began at the age of 12 after attending an entertainment summer camp. Early in her career, she appeared in various stage productions, including ‘Flip’ at The Orlando International Film Festival, ‘Urinetown: The Musical’, ’13 The Musical’, ‘Anne Frank and Me’, where she played the lead role, and ‘Pinkalicious: The Musical’.

Talmadge gained recognition for her work in television and film. From 2016 to 2017, she portrayed Carol in the Netflix sci-fi series ‘Stranger Things’, working alongside actors such as Millie Bobby Brown, Winona Ryder, and David Harbour. During the same period, she also held recurring roles as Mabel in the independent series ‘Still the King’, written and produced by Billy Ray Cyrus, and as Vera in the series ‘Halt and Catch Fire’. In 2019, she appeared as Deenie in the film ‘Doctor Sleep’. Her film credits also include roles such as Ambrosia in ‘To Write Love on Her Arms’, where she acted alongside Kat Dennings, and Carly Perkins in ‘Daniel’s Lot’, featuring Gary Burgoff. Additionally, she played Skye in the 2012 TV movie ‘Mille and the Muse’ and Sparrow Knight in the 2013 short film ‘Sparrow’.

Beyond her acting work, Talmadge is also a musician with a vocal talent and a passion for creating music. In 2018, she was featured in the song “Love Bites” by the band Ice Nine Kills, which was the 12th track on their album “The Silver Scream.” This song was inspired by the 1981 film “An American Werewolf in London.” She has continued to pursue both acting and music, with an upcoming role as Val in the film ‘Jump Scare’, scheduled for release in 2025, and previously as Sophie Dworkin in the video ‘The Feather Detective’ in 2025.
