Kevin Corrigan

His original play, ‘The Boiler Room,’ was produced by the Young Playwrights Festival of New York circa 1986, showcasing Kevin Corrigan’s early talent in both acting and writing. Corrigan made his film debut in ‘Lost Angels’ in 1989. He quickly established himself in independent cinema, appearing in Martin Scorsese’s ‘Goodfellas’ in 1990 and featuring in Dinosaur Jr.’s ‘Get Me’ music video in 1993. He gained significant recognition for roles in films such as ‘True Romance’ (1993), ‘Living in Oblivion’ (1995), and ‘Walking and Talking’ (1996).

His performance in ‘Walking and Talking’ earned him an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Supporting Male in 1996. Further showcasing his multifaceted talents, Corrigan co-wrote and acted in ‘Kicked in the Head’ in 1997. Corrigan transitioned into television with a notable role as Uncle Eddie on the sitcom ‘Grounded for Life,’ which aired for five seasons from 2001 to 2005. He then took on roles in higher-profile feature films, appearing in Martin Scorsese’s Oscar-winning crime thriller ‘The Departed’ (2006) and Judd Apatow-produced comedies ‘Superbad’ (2007) and ‘Pineapple Express’ (2008).

He continued with recurring roles, notably in the series ‘Dice’ (2016-2017), and appeared in Judd Apatow’s ‘The King of Staten Island’ in 2020. More recently, Corrigan appeared in the crime drama ‘American Murderer’ in 2022. His upcoming television projects include roles in the highly anticipated series ‘Poker Face,’ slated for 2025, and ‘Reacher,’ announced for 2026. Throughout his distinguished career, Corrigan has accumulated four wins and six nominations for his diverse acting work, establishing himself as a versatile and compelling character actor known for his distinct portrayals across various genres.
