Chris Rainey

Chris Rainey has transitioned from a professional football player in the NFL and CFL to a speed and track coach, leveraging his extensive career in sports to train the next generation. After earning U.S. Army high school All-American and all-state honors for his exceptional performance, Chris Rainey went on to become an integral part of the University of Florida’s football program. Playing for the Florida Gators from 2007 to 2011, he was a key contributor to the 2008 team that secured both the SEC Championship and the 2009 BCS National Championship.

He founded the Chris Rainey Speed Factory, a specialized program dedicated to elite speed training for aspiring athletes. Concurrently, he established Rainey Elite Speed for AAU track, providing comprehensive coaching and development for youth track and field competitors. Demonstrating his commitment at various levels, Rainey has also taken on coaching roles within high school football, notably serving as an assistant coach at Trinity Catholic in Ocala, where he applies his deep understanding of the game to foster player growth and accelerate their athletic potential.
