Christian Petracca is a prominent Australian rules footballer, known for his dynamic performances as a midfielder and forward in the Australian Football League (AFL). As a Norm Smith Medalist and a four-time All-Australian, he has demonstrated consistent elite-level play throughout his career. After being awarded the prestigious Larke Medal as the best player in the 2014 AFL Under 18 Championships, Christian Petracca was drafted by the Melbourne Football Club with the second overall selection in the 2014 AFL draft. Petracca previously showcased his talent in the TAC Cup with the Eastern Ranges, kicking 41 goals in 17 matches in 2013 and contributing to a grand final victory.
He was also selected for Vic Metro in the 2013 AFL Under 18 Championships and earned a place in the AIS-AFL Academy in 2014.
