Collin Morikawa
The superb sportsman Collin Morikawa is a professional golfer, best known for winning the 2020 PGA Championship, and the 2021 Open Championship. He is also the first American to win the Race to Dubai on the European Tour.
Born and raised in California, Morikawa started playing golf at a young age. He later attended the University of California, Berkeley to play collegiate golf, winning five times between 2015 and 2019. He was part of the team who won the Arnold Palmer Cup in 2017 and 2019, as well as part of the winning Walker Cup team in 2017. In 2018 he was the top-ranked golfer in the World Amateur Golf Ranking for a time.
Morikawa turned professional in 2019 and continued to improve his standing in the golfing world. Then in 2020 he won the PGA Championship. The following year he tied for 4th in the US Open, before going on to claim victory in The Open Championship. That same year he also became the first American to win the Race to Dubai on the European Tour.
