Colt McBee, a two-time World Cup medalist, distinguished himself in 2022 by earning a gold medal in the men’s skeet team event at the ISSF Baku World Cup. That same year, he secured silver medals in both the Mixed Skeet Team and 3-man Skeet Team at the ISSF Cyprus World Cup. His competitive trajectory also includes a bronze medal in Men’s Skeet at the Tokyo 2020 U.S. Olympic Trials Part 1.
Prior to his international success, McBee dominated collegiate competition at Schreiner University, where he earned a Bachelors Degree in Sport Management and achieved an impressive five College National Championships and four All-American titles. During the 2018-2019 season, he was recognized as the ACUI International All Around National Champion, the ACUI All Around Skeet National Champion, and a 3X ACUI All American. McBee has been a consistent presence on the national stage, serving as a member of the USA Shooting National Team from 2019-2023 and again for the 2025 season. His elite performance led to his selection for the 2020 ISSF World Cup Team, competing in New Delhi, India.
To further refine his coaching methodology, McBee pursued and completed advanced certifications, undertaking both Level D and C courses through the esteemed ISSF Academy. Colt McBee’s dual role as both a high-level competitor and a dedicated coach underscores his comprehensive engagement with the sport of skeet shooting. His ongoing membership with the 2025 USA Shooting National Team reflects his continued competitive drive, while his leadership at the McBee Shooting Academy positions him as a significant figure actively working to elevate American competitive shooting and foster its new generation of athletes.
