Corey Cott

Corey Cott, a native of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, embarked on his professional acting career immediately after graduating from Carnegie Mellon School of Drama. He quickly made his Broadway debut in Disney’s “Newsies,” starring as Jack Kelly for two years, beginning on September 5, 2012. Following this, he took on the role of Gaston Lachaille opposite Vanessa Hudgens and Victoria Clark in the Broadway revival of “Gigi.” In 2017, Cott earned critical acclaim for his performance as Donny Novitski in the Tony Award-winning musical “Bandstand,” which was also filmed live for streaming audiences. His early stage work also included roles in Pittsburgh CLO productions such as “Miss Saigon,” “Jekyll and Hyde,” and “Jesus Christ Superstar.”

Transitioning to screen work in the last decade, Cott has appeared in various television series and films. He co-starred with Kim Cattrall in the Fox series “Filthy Rich” in 2020, playing Eric Monreaux, and featured in the Hallmark movie “Butlers in Love” in 2022 as Henry. His television credits include guest roles on popular shows such as “The Equalizer” (2023), “Chicago Med” (2023), “Law & Order” (2022), “Evil” (2021), “The Good Fight” (2017–2018), and “Law & Order SVU” (2016–2025). He also appeared in “Z: The Beginning of Everything” (2017) and the BBC miniseries “My Mother and Other Strangers” (2016). Cott has also performed in concert with the New York Pops at Carnegie Hall and with the National Symphony Orchestra at The Kennedy Center.

Cott’s career continues to evolve with recent achievements including his role as Bobby in the original Broadway production of “The Heart of Rock and Roll” in 2024. He also took on the role of Will in the 2023 Hallmark Channel television film “Making Waves.” Beyond acting, Cott expanded his professional scope as a producer and writer for the short film “Fortune” in 2024, demonstrating his multifaceted involvement in the entertainment industry. His professional journey underscores a consistent engagement across stage, film, and television, marked by notable performances and creative contributions.
