Courtney Stodden

Courtney Alexis Stodden was born on August 29, 1994, in Tacoma, Washington. Her early career began in modeling, and in 2009, she hosted a local cable access TV show titled ‘The Courtney Stodden Show.’ In October 2009, she participated in the Miss Washington Teen USA pageant as Miss Ocean Shores Teen USA. By 2010, Stodden had released several original songs, including “Car Candy,” “Crazy,” “Don’t Put It on Me,” “Hurting People,” and “We Are America.” Her song “Don’t Put It on Me” was recognized by Star Observer as one of the best songs of 2011. Her mother, Krista Keller, initially managed her career, a role later taken over by Doug Hutchison during their marriage.

Stodden gained significant public attention in 2011 after marrying actor Doug Hutchison at the age of 16. This event led to extensive media coverage, including interviews on Fox’s ‘Father Albert,’ ABC’s ‘Good Morning America,’ and ‘E! News.’ The couple appeared on VH1’s reality series ‘Couples Therapy’ in 2012, where they addressed the challenges of their age-gap relationship. In 2013, Stodden joined the British reality show ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ for its twelfth season. Her involvement extended to advocacy, with a photo-op for PETA in 2013 to promote vegetarianism.

Her career expanded into acting with a feature film debut in ‘Love Addict’ in 2016 and a role in ‘Verotika’ in 2019. In 2019, she also signed a deal with FNL Network for a self-titled reality show, ‘Courtney,’ where she served as co-executive producer. Following her divorce from Hutchison in 2020, Stodden continued to engage with various platforms, including launching a cosmetics line and an OnlyFans account. She has been credited as an executive producer for ‘I Was a Child Bride: The Courtney Stodden Story’ (2025). Stodden married producer Jared Safier on December 3, 2024.
