Damir Martin is a highly accomplished Croatian rower, recognized globally as a three-time Olympic medalist and multiple world and European champion in both quadruple and single sculls. After securing his first European Championships silver medal in men’s quadruple sculls in 2010, Damir Martin went on to establish himself as a three-time Olympic medalist and multiple World and European Champion in both quadruple and single sculls. The same pivotal year, his formidable quartet achieved their first World Championship title in the men’s quadruple sculls. Martin continued this early momentum, earning a bronze medal at the World Championships in 2011, also in the men’s quadruple sculls.
His consistent performance led to another Olympic podium finish at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, where he secured a bronze medal in the men’s single sculls. Throughout his decorated career, Martin has also amassed numerous World Rowing Cup victories, consistently showcasing his exceptional skill and competitive spirit as a long-standing member of the Croatian national team, and representing esteemed clubs such as VK Croatia, Zagreb, and Trenjevka.
