Dan Biggar

Dan Biggar is a former professional rugby union player known for his career as a fly-half for Wales, the British & Irish Lions, Ospreys, Northampton Saints, and Toulon. After making his senior debut for Ospreys in 2008, Dan Biggar quickly established himself as a prominent fly-half in professional rugby. He spent 11 years with the Ospreys, accumulating 221 appearances and a region-record 2,203 points. During his tenure, Biggar was instrumental in securing two Pro12 titles in 2010 and 2012, and became the youngest player to reach both 100 and 200 appearances for the region.

He played his final game for Wales in the 2023 Rugby World Cup quarter-final, marking the end of a decorated international career. As he transitions from his distinguished playing career, Biggar has recently joined Scarlets as a director, leveraging his extensive experience and leadership within rugby to contribute to the club’s strategic direction. His official retirement from playing is announced for 2025, signaling a new chapter focused on leadership and management within the sport he has dominated for nearly two decades.
