Ben Houselog

Ben Houselog is a dedicated athlete currently competing as a wide receiver for the Upper Iowa University Peacocks football team. In the 2023 season, he transitioned into a role as a student assistant coach, showcasing his leadership and commitment to the development of his teammates. This position allows him to leverage his experience on the field while contributing to the strategic planning and execution of team practices.

During the 2021 season, Houselog made his mark by participating in two games, where he recorded a tackle and a blocked kick, demonstrating his defensive skills and versatility. Additionally, he made a notable contribution on special teams with a kickoff return for 11 yards. His performance in these games highlighted his ability to impact the game in various roles, earning him recognition among his peers and coaches.

In 2022, Houselog was honored by being named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence, reflecting his dedication not only to athletics but also to his academic pursuits.
