Satsuki Fujisawa

Satsuki Fujisawa leads as skip for Japan’s national curling team, achieving Olympic medals and multiple national championships. After leading her team to Japan’s first gold medal at the 2015 Pacific-Asia Curling Championships, Satsuki Fujisawa continued to make history, securing Japan’s first-ever podium finish at a World Championship with a silver medal at the 2016 World Women’s Curling Championship. This pivotal period began in 2015 when Fujisawa joined Mari Motohashi’s rink as skip, initiating a new era of success. Prior to this, Fujisawa demonstrated her talent early in her career, winning gold medals at the Pacific Junior Curling Championships in both 2008 and 2009, which led to her participation in the 2008 and 2009 World Junior Curling Championships.

In the same year, she added another silver medal to her accolades at the 2023 Pan Continental Curling Championships. Remaining at the forefront of the sport, Satsuki Fujisawa continues to drive excellence in curling. In 2023, in addition to her numerous curling victories, she showcased her diverse athletic capabilities by competing in the MOLA cup, venturing into bodybuilding.
