Dan Castellaneta is an accomplished actor, voice artist, comedian, and writer best known for his extensive voice work, particularly for the iconic animated series The Simpsons. After securing his place on ‘The Tracey Ullman Show’ with a memorable audition, Dan Castellaneta went on to originate the voice of Homer Simpson in the animated shorts that premiered on the show in 1987, a role that ultimately led to the iconic series The Simpsons. Earlier in his career, Castellaneta refined his voice-acting skills through a radio show called ‘The Ron Petke and His Dead Uncle Show’ and explored improvisational theater. Following his graduation in 1979, he pursued acting, joining The Second City, a renowned improvisational theatre in Chicago, from 1983 to 1987.
