David Chokachi was born on January 16, 1968, in Plymouth, Massachusetts. His father is of Turkish-Iraqi origin, and his mother is American with Finnish descent. He attended Tabor Academy, an elite boarding prep school in Marion, Massachusetts, where he participated in lacrosse and football. Chokachi later graduated from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, with a degree in political science, before pursuing a career in acting.
Chokachi began his acting career in 1995, gaining widespread recognition for his role as Cody Madison in the television series “Baywatch.” He remained a main cast member until 1999, contributing to the show’s global popularity.
