David De Rothschild

David De Rothschild transitioned from polar explorer to a leading voice in environmentalism, advocating for global sustainability and innovative conservation solutions. After completing a groundbreaking 100-day crossing of the Arctic from Russia to Canada in 2006, making him one of the youngest British individuals to reach both geographical poles, David De Rothschild went on to become a leading voice in environmentalism and innovative conservation. This historic feat followed his traverse of Antarctica and being part of a team that set a world record for the fastest crossing of the Greenland ice cap in the same year. Rothschild’s early career included earning a B.Sc in Political Science and Information Systems from Oxford Brookes University in 1996 and an advanced Diploma in Natural Medicine in 2002.

Expanding his reach into education and sustainable commerce, Rothschild developed and produced ‘Eco Trip: The Real Cost of Living’, an eight-part documentary series released in 2012, educating audiences on sustainable living. Demonstrating his commitment to integrating sustainable practices into lifestyle, he launched The Lost Explorer brand in 2016, an ecology-oriented lifestyle brand for conscious consumption. He expanded his production portfolio, producing the docudrama ‘Becoming Bond’ in 2017. Rothschild also founded the Sculpt the Future Foundation, dedicated to promoting environmental change through innovative projects and global advocacy.
