David Koechner

David Koechner is an American actor, comedian, writer, and producer recognized for his extensive work in film and television, including memorable roles in ‘Anchorman’ and ‘The Office,’ making him a familiar face in the comedy landscape. After establishing himself in the world of improvisational and sketch comedy, David Koechner achieved widespread recognition with his breakout role as Champ Kind in the 2004 comedy Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy. Having graduated from Chicago’s The Second City comedy troupe in 1994, Koechner joined the cast of Saturday Night Live for a year-long tenure from 1995-1996. He further honed his craft as a sketch regular on Late Night with Conan O’Brien in the mid-1990s, before moving to Los Angeles in 1997.

He has also consistently lent his voice to animated projects, notably providing the voice of Dick Reynolds on the long-running series American Dad!
