Diego Schoening is a Mexican singer, actor, and television host. Schoening started his career in the band Timbiriche in 1981 until it disbanded in 1994. In Timbiriche, he recorded 19 records, performed on the popular Mexican soap operas “Acompañame” in 1977, “Nosotras las Mujeres” in 1981, “La Pasion de Isabela” in 1984, “Angélica” in 1985, “Muchachitas” in 1991, “Agujetas de Colores de Rosa” in 1994, “Confidente de Secundaria” in 1996, and “Soñadoras” in 1998.
Schoening appreaded in several television series including multiple episodes of “Mujer Casos de la Vida Real,” a television anthology. He also appeared in the shows, “Anabel,” “La Hora Marcada,” “La Vida es un Cancion,” “Lo Que Callamos Las Mujeres,” and “Si Se Puede.” Schoening also appeaered on the silver screen in “Embrujo del Rock,” as well of the voice of Denahi in “Brother Bear.” He was the television host of “Nuevas Tardes,” “Hoy,” “100% Mujer,” and “Super Sabado.” He was also a judge for the reality television competition, “Buscando a la Nueva Banda Timbiriche,” a nod to his past.
In 1998 he reunited with the old members of “Timbiriche,” Paulina Rubio, Alix Bauer, Erik Rubin, Sasha Sokol, Mariana Garza, and Benny Ibarra, and again in 2007 to celebrate 25 years since the beginning of the group. In 1999 he released his first solo album “Voy a Mí.” In 2009 he released his second album “Lo Que Soy.”
