Don Darryl Rivera

Don Darryl Rivera is an actor, playwright, and composer known for his extensive work on Broadway and in various theatrical productions across the U.S. After originating the acclaimed role of Iago in Disney’s Aladdin on Broadway in 2014, Don Darryl Rivera has continued to captivate audiences in the iconic production, celebrating its remarkable 10th anniversary in 2024. Prior to his Broadway debut, Rivera honed his craft across numerous stages nationwide, appearing at prestigious regional theaters including The Guthrie Theater, The 5th Avenue Theatre, Seattle Children’s Theatre, The Children’s Theatre Company, and The Shakespeare Theatre Company. He further solidified his foundational training by earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Cornish College of the Arts.

His Off-Broadway credits include a role as the Soldier/Driver in ‘Promenade’ in 2019. More recently, Rivera has expanded his versatile career into television, appearing in high-profile series such as Only Murders in the Building in 2023.
