Bartender extraordinaire turned reality TV star, Mia Mastroianni, has taken her love, passion and skills behind a bar and turned it into a booming career in film and television. With over 15 years experience in the service industry, Mia’s knowledge makes her indispensable as a bar consultant both on and off the screen. She may be best known for her work as the Master Mixologist on popular Paramount reality show Bar Rescue, however Mia is also an actress in her own right, having worked on numerous film and television productions.
Hailing from Massachusetts, the bar guru eventually attended the University of Miami. She made her acting debut in 1998 in the short film Knock it Down as Sloan. In 2009 Mia made her first appearance in reality TV, in the blackjack style game show, Catch 21, as a contestant. Her bar career began in 2010, when she became one of the founding bartenders of Soho House West Hollywood LLC. She worked her way to head bartender at the exclusive venue and eventually travelled the nation to open additional Soho Houses in Miami Beach and Toronto.
Mia’s success at Soho House led her to land the gig of consultant on Bar Rescue in 2013, a position she still holds to this day. Now with a massive 22.2K Twitter followers, the mixologist is well and truly established as a leading force in the service and television industry. Mia regularly travels across the country, visiting distilleries and assisting bars, as well as various film and television productions, towards greater success.
