Don Diamont

Born Donald Feinberg in New York City in 1962, Don Diamont later grew up in Los Angeles. He was the youngest of four children and excelled academically and as an athlete in high school. Diamont pursued acting, studying with Nina Foch, and began his career using his mother’s maiden name, Diamont. He started as a model before securing his first acting role as Carlo Forenza on “Days of Our Lives” in 1984. In 1985, he transitioned to “The Young and the Restless,” playing Brad Carlton. His character evolved from an Abbott gardener to a businessman, gaining significant recognition.

Diamont’s career continued to flourish, and in 1990, PEOPLE magazine recognized him as one of the ‘most beautiful people in the world,’ a first for a daytime actor. After leaving and returning to “The Young and the Restless,” his character Brad Carlton was written off in 2009. Shortly after, he joined the cast of the sister show, “The Bold and the Beautiful,” as Bill Spencer Jr., a central figure in a newly expanded family. Outside of his long-standing soap opera roles, Diamont has appeared in films such as “Anger Management” (2003) and guest-starred in TV series like “Baywatch” and “Diagnosis Murder.”

Beyond his acting career, Diamont is actively involved in charity work, particularly with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, a cause close to him due to his niece’s diagnosis. He has been honored for his efforts, receiving the Ambassador of the Year Award in 2001. Diamont is also known for being a cover model for Playgirl magazine twice, in 1988 and 1995, and was named “Sexiest Veteran Soap Actor” by People Magazine in 2009. He continues to be a notable figure in television and philanthropic endeavors.
