Donny Osmond, an American singer, dancer, actor, and television host, has maintained a multi-faceted career spanning decades, transitioning from a teen idol to a celebrated entertainer with long-running Las Vegas residencies and successful reality television appearances. After gaining national recognition as a regular on ‘The Andy Williams Show’ starting in the early 1960s, Donny Osmond launched a highly successful solo career in the early 1970s. Making his debut on the show at age six in 1963, he performed alongside his brothers in The Osmonds before achieving teen idol status with a string of hit singles. His solo breakthrough included ‘Go Away Little Girl,’ which reached U.S.

Osmond’s diverse career in the 2000s included extensive work in television and live entertainment. He hosted the popular game show ‘Pyramid’ from 2002 to 2004 and showcased his performing prowess by winning season 9 of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ in 2009. From 2008 to 2019, he co-headlined a record-breaking 11-year Las Vegas residency with Marie Osmond at the Flamingo Las Vegas, where they performed an impressive 1,730 shows to sold-out audiences. He also made a notable return to reality competition television as the runner-up in season 1 of ‘The Masked Singer’ in 2019.

Maintaining a dynamic presence across entertainment platforms, Donny Osmond is set to return to the stage in 2024, taking on the role of Pharaoh in a new production of ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ in Edinburgh, further solidifying his enduring legacy in musical theatre.
