Doug Lawrence

Doug Lawrence is a voice actor, writer, and animator best known for his contributions to popular animated series like “SpongeBob SquarePants” and “Rocko’s Modern Life.” After honing his craft as a layout assistant on ‘The Ren & Stimpy Show’ at Spümcø from 1992 to 1993, Doug Lawrence solidified his multidisciplinary talent in animation. He transitioned to Games Animation, becoming a core member of the production team for ‘Rocko’s Modern Life’ from 1993 to 1996. During this pivotal period, Lawrence lent his voice to the memorable character Filburt and numerous additional voices, while concurrently serving as a writer, storyboard artist, and director for multiple episodes of the beloved series. Demonstrating his versatile writing abilities, he also contributed to the creative team for ‘The Twisted Tales of Felix the Cat’ from 1995 to 1997.
