As a Clinical Research Coordinator I at the William Sansum Diabetes Center from June 2014 to April 2017, Dr. Tyler Jean was a key member of a team developing an Artificial Pancreas System for the treatment of Type 1 Diabetes. In this role, he coordinated multiple NIH and JDRF-funded studies, successfully recruited patients, trained support staff in clinical techniques, and completed several FDA-approved clinical studies. Prior to this, Dr.
He then pursued a Doctorates Degree in Naturopathic Medicine at the National University of Natural Medicine, which he completed between 2017 and 2021. Today, Dr. Jean operates as a functional medicine doctor and entrepreneur, dedicated to advancing holistic health and human performance through root cause approaches to healing. He manages the online platform @functional.foods, providing recipes, educational content, and brand recommendations to a wide audience.
As a creator, he has developed various self-paced courses, e-books, and programs centered on functional nutrition, lifestyle practices, and comprehensive root cause healing methodologies. In his ongoing commitment to empowering individuals, Dr. Jean founded HealthX, a holistic health membership community. HealthX provides a structured framework complete with educational modules, expert webinars, and advanced lab testing, guiding members to take control of their well-being.
