Dwyane Wade

Drafted fifth overall by the Miami Heat in the 2003 NBA draft, Dwyane Wade immediately established his impact, earning a unanimous spot on the NBA All-Rookie Team in 2004 after averaging 16.2 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 4.5 assists in his rookie season. His collegiate success at Marquette University included leading the Golden Eagles to the Final Four in the 2002-03 season, highlighted by a notable triple-double (29 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists) against Kentucky in the Midwest Regional final. Marquette honored his contributions by retiring his No. 3 jersey in 2007.

Following the acquisition of Shaquille O’Neal, Wade earned his first NBA All-Star selection in 2005.
