After finishing as a semi-finalist on American Idol, Effie Passero has made a name for herself touring the globe with Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox. Her and Branden & James formed the newly formed classical-crossover group CelloVoci.

Effie Passero is a singer-songwriter known for her vocal abilities and diverse musical range. Her career began at an early age, starting with performing at age five, followed by local theatre and voice lessons. By age 12, she commenced classical opera training, which she continued until she was 24. This extensive training equipped her with a strong technical foundation and capability to perform across various genres. During her studies, she attended Cal State Fullerton, though she later left to focus on her music.
A significant turning point in Passero’s career was her participation in the sixteenth season of ‘American Idol’ in 2018, the show’s first season on ABC. She advanced through several competitive rounds, including Hollywood Week and the Showcase Round, ultimately reaching the Top 24. During the Showcase Round, she performed “The Dance.” As part of the Top 24, she performed a solo of “Barracuda” and a duet of “Diane” with Cam, before being eliminated. Following her time on ‘American Idol,’ Passero expanded her professional engagements, including extensive touring.
Passero has developed a career that includes touring internationally with Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox and forming the classical-crossover group CelloVoci with Branden & James. Her work extends to songwriting, demo singing, and musical theatre composition. She has composed original musicals, showcasing her capabilities beyond vocal performance into broader creative roles. Her experience includes providing vocals for various studio projects and developing a chameleonic vocal style that allows her to adapt to different musical demands, from EDM to classical and Disney-style vocals.
