Elle Dawe is a widely recognised Australian film and television actress, comedian and model who is best known for playing the role of Shazza in the television series, ‘Bogan Hunters’. Dawe has also appeared in many projects including Dumb Criminals: The Movie and Summernats and the Hunt for the Great Aussie Hoon.

Dawe studied acting while attending a performing arts high school in Sydney and she has built a career in the arts since then.

Dawe’s breakthrough role came in 2008, when she landed a major role on Australian television in the SBS series ‘Swift and Shift Couriers’, when she portrayed Elle Whick. Following this and her subsequent rise in profile, she played several popular characters including Shazza Jones in ‘Housos’, ‘Bogan Hunters’ and in the films Housos vs. Authority and Fat Pizza vs. Housos.

Dawe is also a stand up comedian and has been commended for her comedy material. She has performed stand up at the Adelaide Fringe Festival and the Sydney Comedy Festival and also featured as the Zoo Weekly Cover Girl in 2013. Dawe is passionate about her charity work and supports charities such as The Starlight Children’s Foundation, the Rotary Hat Day and Art for the Reef.
