Elle Dawe

Elle Dawe is an Australian film and television actress recognised for her consistent performances across various comedic and dramatic roles. After commencing her career in film and television in 1997, Elle Dawe achieved her breakthrough with the SBS series Swift and Shift Couriers, playing the role of Elle Whick across 18 episodes from 2008 to 2011. This success led to her becoming notably associated with the character Shazza Jones, a role she first portrayed in the SBS and 7mate series Housos, appearing in 23 episodes between 2011 and 2013. Dawe continued to expand the Shazza Jones character, reprising the role in the feature films Housos vs.

Authority (2012) and Fat Pizza vs. Housos (2014). Her portrayal also extended to the 7mate series Bogan Hunters, where she appeared in 10 episodes in 2014. Demonstrating her versatility beyond comedic acting, Dawe lent her voice to multiple characters, including Annie Swan and Boganella, in the critically acclaimed video game Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel!

In recent years, Dawe has continued to build a robust portfolio, appearing as Dr Dream in The Society Experiment (2022) and in Darradong Local Council (2023). She also made a self-appearance in the documentary Surviving Sunset an Actor’s Hollywood Journey in 2023. Currently, Dawe is filming for the upcoming series The Buddy’s, where she is set to portray the character Lana Davis, further cementing her consistent presence in Australian productions across both comedic and dramatic roles.
