Elle Mulvaney was born in October 2002 in Bury, England. Her acting journey began early, attending the Carol Godby Theatre Workshop from the age of four where she developed her skills. This early start provided the foundation for her professional career in television.
Mulvaney achieved her first major acting role in March 2010 when she was announced as the new Amy Barlow in the long-running UK soap opera, ‘Coronation Street’. She took over the role from the previous actress, Amber Chadwick, to handle more significant storylines. Elle made her debut appearance in early May 2010. Prior to securing this main role, she had appeared as an extra on ‘Coronation Street’ several times throughout 2008 and 2009, gaining early exposure to the production environment.
Since joining ‘Coronation Street’, Mulvaney has continually portrayed Amy Barlow, dedicating over a decade to the character. Her consistent performance in this demanding role has earned her recognition within the industry.
