Elsie Fisher is an American actor known for impactful roles in film and television, including acclaimed performances in “Eighth Grade” and prominent voice work in the “Despicable Me” franchise. After achieving critical acclaim for her starring role as Kayla Day in Bo Burnham’s 2018 comedy-drama film Eighth Grade, which earned her a Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Actress – Motion Picture Comedy or Musical, Elsie Fisher built upon an already impressive foundation of work. Fisher began her professional acting career with a television debut in the series Medium in 2009.
