Enrique Arce

Enrique Javier Arce Temple was born on October 8, 1972, in Valencia, Spain. He initially pursued a law degree at university. However, in his fourth year, Arce decided to shift his focus to acting. He received 2 million pesetas (approximately £10,000 / $15,000) from winning the Valencian television show, ‘Ellos i Elles’ on Canal Nou. This prize money allowed him to fund his studies at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Arce has since developed his acting career in both Spain and internationally, working across film, television, and theatre.

His career includes notable roles in several television series. From 2017 to 2019, he played Rodrigo of Catalonia in the historical fiction series ‘Knightfall’. Concurrently, he was featured as Arturo Román in the globally recognized series ‘Money Heist’ from 2017 to 2021. In film, Arce has appeared in ‘A Long Way Down’ (2014) and ‘Beyond Re-Animator’ (2003). More recently, he took on the role of Francisco in ‘Murder Mystery 2’ (2023) and played Pablo Picasso in ‘Lee’ (2023). Arce has also been involved in theatre productions throughout his career, including ‘La Celestina’, ‘Bodas de sangre’, and ‘Otelo’.
